Terms & Conditions

These are our terms and conditions upon inquiring, confirming a booking or travelling with us.

Pricing & Promotions

From time to time, we will offer special prices or promotions.  The terms and conditions of our special pricing or promotions are:

  • When we list or offer “Pricing from…” this means that this is for a minimum of 10 people on board for a water taxi service and a minimum of 6 people for a fishing charter.  The cost may be higher if there is less than these numbers of  people on board, respective of the service we offer.  Please contact us to discuss.
  • When we list or offer a special for a “limited time”, we mean subject to a time period around a local event, public holiday, local anniversary day or another time period, such as a calendar month.  Please contact us to discuss if you wish to clarify this “limited time” or book outside of a “limited time”.

Booking Confirmation

We require a 50% deposit on the verbally or written agreed costs of your trip to confirm your booking, with the balance payable the day before your scheduled booking.

Cancellation Policy

You will receive a refund if you cancel your booking, but we may charge a fee unless otherwise agreed with us. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund any deposits for cancellations made within 48 hours of departure.

Re-booking Policy

If we cancel your trip due to unsafe conditions on the water we will retain only your 50% deposit, refunding any other payment, with the option to re-book within a 6 month period at a mutually agreed date and time.  This is as there is no point to going ahead with an unsafe nor unenjoyable trip when conditions do not allow.

This is a very uncommon occurrence, with our waka being suitable for most weather conditions, our skipper experienced, and our being able to change locations that might allow for a safe or more enjoyable experience for you.
